#2. Weather Forecast Machine

Our planet is starting to get sick. Extreme weathers are happening everywhere in the world. If you can design a machine that can change the weather. What would it be and how does the machine work?

      • Materials: color pencils / pencils / erasers / markers

      • Scroll down to the bottom and print out the drawing for reference.

    Follow these steps:

In the center of the paper, let’s draw a hot air balloon and a person inside. Do you want a companion pet? It might be a dog, a cat, or a rabbit. How does the hot air balloon work? I have lights on the machine and words that said “Rescue Team”. The rescue team can spot animals who needed help.

I have bunch of color squares above my “Rescue Team” words. The squares are the computer lights that flashes when the hot air balloon is in use.

There is a control stick inside my hot air balloon to steer the machine. Can you think of anything else for the machine? What about a giant helicopter blade that can be tug away. Be creative with your machine and have fun designing!

Let’s move onto the weather changing machines.

I have four ideas for the machines.

The first one is a drought machine with tiny atoms of water molecules inside. It sucks in air and then produce water droplets. There is a microchip on my machine to fly on its own.

The second machine is a transparent flying cube that can transport injured animal to the hospital.

The third machine can purify air. It will suck bad air inside from the wing area and then blows out clean air from the bottom vent.

The last machine I have is the sun machine. It is a gigantic light bulb that has an orange transparent shade. The sun machine allows people to grow vegetables and fruits even in really cold places like the North Pole. This way, Santa Claus can have lots of healthy vegetables and fruits to eat.

Let me know what other brilliant machines you have invented.

Cannot wait to see all of your creativities!

Here is what the final drawing looks like. What does yours look like? I hope to see it one day!
